Sasha Gutierrez
The Opera Next Door
Determined to use her voice, Sasha collaborated with her family, friends, and neighbors to bring opera to her stoop. As a student of opera at the Manhattan School of Music, Sasha arranged a stoop opera performance with other artists for her neighbors during the pandemic when everyone was required to stay indoors. She subsequently founded Opera Next Door, now featured on stoops citywide.
